Humain Encounters
Products developed as functional responses to specific needs are placed in dialogue with works by designers and craftspeople.
Within this context, they move beyond their role as assistive objects and become part of a broader aesthetic and cultural discourse.
The work challenges the separation between support and aesthetics, suggesting that objects designed to assist can also hold visual, spatial, and cultural presence.

ENCOUNTER I – Metallic Interface
The first event of the Humain Encounters 2026 series. Humain Encounters is a series of gatherings exploring body knowledge, material practice and design. The first encounter explores metal as an interface between body, material and social practice.
